On Thursday, February 8th, at 6 p.m., Prince Memorial Library will host an opening ceremony for its hosting of The Summit Project's Honor Case, an exhibit honoring Maine Veterans who have died since September 11, 2001. Members of board of directors of The Summit Project will share the history of the project, its mission and some stories of the veterans whose stones are on display in the honor case. The ceremony is open the community.

The Summit Project Honor Case features engraved stones of fallen service members. The families of the service members unearthed and donated the memorial stones, which were then engraved by The Summit Project. The Honor Case is a traveling exhibit that has been at various locations across Maine. The engraved stones are carried by volunteers on treks throughout Maine and across the world. The Summit Project Honor Case will be on display at the library until March 24th.
