Community Resource Liaison

My name is Lauren Bartlett and I am the Community Resource Liaison for the Yarmouth, Falmouth, and Cumberland Police Departments. I am assisting officers through co-response and outreach into the community with mental health related calls and providing resources for individuals seeking help and guidance.

While receiving an education from Thomas College, I was a dual sport athlete and worked as a Reserve Police Officer for the Wells Police Department as well as a Mental Health Worker at a psychiatric facility here in Maine. After completing two bachelor’s degrees in Criminal Justice and Forensic Psychology, I decided to take it a step further and get a Masters in Business Administration also from Thomas College. I am local to the state of Maine and have seen many positions like this one come about in various departments. I am excited to bring this position to this tri-town to merge the gap between law enforcement and mental health while providing adequate resources to the community.
