Finance

The Finance Department is responsible for processing and reporting all financial transactions for the Town of Cumberland, including all revenue collections, payroll, vendor payments, and other disbursements. In addition, the Department estimates future cash flow requirements; works closely with all Departments in preparation of annual budgets; manages investments, insurances, debt and bond issuances; and works closely with Human Resources to administer employee benefits. The Finance Department is subject to an annual audit, and prepares the Comprehensive Annual Financial Report.
