Records Requests

The Cumberland Police Department releases police records and crash reports in accordance with the Maine Freedom of Access Act.

  • Vehicle Crash Reports may take up to five days to complete. You can contact us or stop in for a copy.  Reports can also be ordered online at Maine Crash Reports.
  • Officer Incident Reports may take up to five days to complete and will be released in accordance with Maine FOAA regulation.

The completion of a record request form is not required, however, it will help us understand exactly what you need so we can best serve you.
