Edward Trickey Store and Post Office

Check out this week's historical photo feature, Edward Trickey Store and Post Office circa 1915! In 1895, the Poland’s Corner post office moved to this store at the corner of Middle and Tuttle Roads when Edward H. Trickey was named postmaster, and it remained there until 1918. The building is now a private residence. Tuttle Road, on the left, was moved shortly after, early 1920s, to the west to lessen the gradient.(Photo Courtesy of Prince Memorial Library)
