Adams Home on Main Street

A glimpse of Main Street in 1897! This photograph shows the house where Cora Adams lived with her husband, Fred Adams. Cora was a volunteer librarian at the Cumberland Library. Fred, a blacksmith, built his shop beside the home. It was located conveniently near the church, where the majority of the town had their horses shod. (Photo Courtesy: Prince Memorial Library)
