Tuttle Road Project - August 9th Update

On Thursday, August 02 A. H. Grover began box cut for full depth construction on east and west side of project area, along with placing subbase gravel.  Friday, August 3^rd the crew installed new culverts and regraded the entrance at Bunkers Way.  On Monday, August 6^th the Grover crew began placing base gravel and brought two existing manholes up to grade in fill area.  The crew cleaned culverts for slip lining and continued placing base gravel on Tuesday, August 7^th and on Wednesday, August 8^th they took the temporary water out of service and the new water main was put on line.  

Work scheduled for next week includes slip line existing culverts on Thursday, August 9^th.  The crew will install drainage improvements on Friday, August 10^th.  On Monday, August 13^th they will begin fine grading the road and placing loam to prepare for paving towards the end of next week.
