Tuttle Road Project - August 2nd Update

On Thursday, July 26^th Grover hauled and placed material for fill area of road reconstruction project to prepare for new culvert installation.  The crew installed a hydrant assembly along with a 16 inch gate valve and air release valve on east end of the project on Friday, July 27^th.  On Monday, July 30^th they completed connection to the existing water main at the east end of the project and installed hydrant assembly on the west end of the project area.  Grover installed water services at October Farms Way on Tuesday, July 31^st.  On Wednesday the 1^st of August they installed dual 36 inch culverts at STA 7+00 and one 36 inch culvert at STA 9+80.  They also pressure tested the water main and began chlorinating for bacteria test on Wednesday, August 1^st. 

The crew will work on box cut at each end of the project area and establish toe of slope on Thursday and Friday the 2^nd and 3^rd of August.  They will continue to work on road reconstruction Monday, August 6^th and Tuesday, August 7^th.  They will begin removing temporary water on Tuesday, August 7^th.  On Wednesday, August 8^th Grover will install dual 48 inch culverts and reconstruct the entrance at Bunker Way.
