Interested in Serving on the LCC?

Are you interested in learning more about your community? Can you spare a few evening hours? Would you like to meet other Cumberland residents with similar interests? Becoming a member of one of our committees is a great way to get involved. 
The Lands and Conservation Commission (LCC) is looking for new members! The LCC, and its subcommittees, work to promote the conservation of natural resources and encourage the conservation of water, land, and open space and vistas within the town. The LCC oversees the Town's forests and recreational trails as well as researches and recommends better methods to address environmental issues. The LCC has the following openings:
  • 1 member for the Commission
  • 1 member for the Trails subcommittee
  • 2 members for the Sustainability subcommittee
