V. LEGISLATION AND POLICY
24 – 040 To consider and act on a request from the Chebeague and Cumberland Land Trust for $100,000 toward the purchase of the Watson Woods property adjacent to the Rines Forest.
24 – 041 To consider and act on acceptance of the Knight’s Pond Forest Management Plan and to forward the plan to the Cumberland/North Yarmouth Joint Standing Committee.
24 – 042 To hear a report from the Finance Director re: 3rd quarter financials.
24 – 043 To authorize end of year transfers as recommended by the Finance Committee.
24 – 044 To hold a Public Hearing to consider and act on adoption of the FY2025 Municipal Budget.
24 – 045 To authorize the Town Manager to enter into a Memorandum of Understanding with the Towns of Chebeague Island and Yarmouth to share radio equipment.
24 – 046 To endorse a joint proclamation with the Town of Falmouth for the exploration of collaboration of future shared municipal services.
24 – 047 To hold a Public Hearing to consider and act on a Medical Marijuana Registered Caregiver License renewal for Evergreen Cannabis Co. (Andrew Pettingill) located at 222 Gray Road.
24 – 048 To hold a Public Hearing to consider and act on a Medical Marijuana Registered Caregiver License renewal for Evergreen Cannabis Co. (Kristin Pettingill) located at 93 Lower Methodist Road.
24 – 049 To hold a Public Hearing to consider and act on a Medical Marijuana Registered Caregiver License renewal for SSJA, LLC (Jacob Acheson) located at 212 Gray Road.
24 – 050 To hold a Public Hearing to consider and act on a Medical Marijuana Registered Caregiver License renewal for Crème De La Crème (Robert Thibodeau) located at 210 Gray Road.
24 – 051 To hold a Public Hearing to consider and act on a Liquor License renewal for Rachel’s on the Green from June 27, 2024 to June 27, 2025.
24 – 052 To hold a Public Hearing to consider and act on approval of annual Victualer’s Licenses for non-profit organizations for the period of July 1, 2024 – June 30, 2025.
24 – 053 To adopt a new Floodplain Management Ordinance as required by the State of Maine Floodplain Management Office and FEMA.
24 – 054 To hold a Public Hearing to consider and act on approval of Mass Gathering Town events to be held at Twin Brook Recreation Area.
24 – 055 To set a Public Hearing date of June 3rd to consider and act on authorizing the Town Manager to enter into a labor contract agreement with the Cumberland Police Benevolent Association for the period of July 1, 2024 – June 30, 2027.
24 – 056 To set a Public Hearing date of June 3rd to consider and act on authorizing the Town Manager to enter into a labor contract agreement with the Public Services Employees Association for the period of July 1, 2024 – June 30, 2027.
24 – 057 To set a Public Hearing date of June 3rd to consider and act on authorizing the Town Manager to enter into a labor contract agreement with the Cumberland Fire Department Teamsters Local 340 for the period of July 1, 2024 – June 30, 2027.
