Recycling Shredded Paper

Clear plastic bags with shredded paper inside are the ONE exception to the no-plastic-bags-rule. A clear plastic bag is necessary so that the ecomaine operators can see inside the bag, will know that it's shredded paper, can open it, and let the paper be recycled, while discarding the plastic film, which they don't want going into their facility. Any type of clear bag that allows ecomaine workers to see through to the shredded paper inside is OK. For more information about recycling, please visit ecomaine's RECYCLOPEDIA app.
