Cumberland/North Yarmouth Lions Club

The Cumberland/North Yarmouth Lions Club has been an active part of our community since its founding in 1961. An active membership of over 50 members work throughout the year to support a number of community activities including the Community Food Pantry, support for our area seniors, Annual Christmas Tree Lighting and the students at Greely High School with annual Senior scholarships and the ongoing Student of the Month. And of course we also support the Lions Club International cause, to aid the blind and visually impaired by donating eye glasses when and where needed.

All the money to accomplish these things comes from our local Lions fundraisers including: the Lions food booth at the Cumberland Fair, the annual citrus sale, apple pie sales ( proceeds to Food Pantry ), and a food booth at Twin Brook events. We count on the people of Cumberland and North Yarmouth to support these fundraisers.

The Lions Club meets bi-weekly from September through May and we are always looking for new members. Our members do whatever is needed to help our local community. Everywhere we work, we make friends. For more information please check out our web page at: http://www.cnylions.org/home
