Welcome to the Town of Cumberland! Cumberland continues to be one of the best towns in the state of Maine. It has been recognized as one of the most desirable places to live and raise a family as well as being nationally ranked as one of the safest and smartest communities. The Town is also recognized by the state as a Business Friendly Community and is a member of the Greater Portland Chamber of Commerce.

The Administration Team consists of the Town Manager, Assistant Town Manager, Human Resources Director, Finance Director, Communications Director and administrative support. The Town Manager is appointed by the Town Council and is responsible for the day-to-day operations of all Town staff members and all municipal services.
