Council Corner - Housing Task Force Appointments

This Monday, July 11th, the Town Council Nominating Committee will recommend ten residents to be appointed to the newly formed Housing Task Force. Thank you to everyone who applied and to the residents who will take on this new effort! The Task Force will provide recommendations to the Town Council on ways to facilitate the development of affordable housing within the community. They will consider all possible affordable housing needs and opportunities, including but not limited to, those for low-income individuals and families, seniors, refugees, asylum seekers, etc.

The Council would also like to remind citizens that there is a vacancy on the MSAD #51 School Board. This new member would fill the vacancy through June 2023. **The deadline to apply has been extended to 4:00pm on July 21st.** Please click here to learn more.
