Public discussion is for comments on items that are not on the agenda. Comments are limited to 5 minutes per person. Rebuttal comments will be limited to 2 minutes. Public discussion topics may be brought up again under New Business for further Council discussion.
LEGISLATION AND POLICY
23 – 077 To appoint a member to the MSAD 51 Board of Directors.
23 – 078 To hear a report from the Tax Assessor and hold a Public Hearing to consider and act on setting the FY2024 tax rate.
23 – 079 To hold a Public Hearing to set rates at which interest will be paid for delinquent taxes and to authorize applying tax payments to the oldest unpaid taxes.
23 – 080 To hear a report from the Town Manager re: Verizon Tower Lease.
23 – 081 To consider a request from the Town’s insurer to consent to a proposed settlement in Rees v. Town of Cumberland negotiated by the Town’s insurer.
23 – 082 To hear a report from the Town Forrester re: Twin Brook Recreation Area Forest Management Plan and Invasive Plant Control Practice Plan.
23 – 083 To set a Public Hearing date of August 14th consider and act on the adoption of the Twin Brook Recreation Area Forest Management Plan and Invasive Plant Control Practice Plan, as recommended by the Town Forester.
