Limited enrollment. Sign up early! We will begin accepting registrations on Tuesday, April 4th. You may register either in person or online at Cumberland/North Yarmouth Community Recreation.

This is a play-oriented program designed to meet the needs of pre-kindergarten 4 and 5 year olds. A variety of developmentally appropriate activities will be offered in the following areas: art, music, dramatic play, language arts, science as well as fine and gross motor activities. Each week the campers will take a field trip on a school bus, generally on Thursday mornings. Returning this year is the “My Town” series, each Tuesday weather permitting, we will walk to and learn about a local business. This camp is a wonderful way for your child to get acclimated to Mabel I Wilson School! Children should bring a snack each day- no breakable containers, please!
Note: Children must be 4 years old prior to June 01, 2017 (No Exceptions!)

Fee: $110 resident/ $120 non-resident (per week)
Dates & Times: Monday–Friday, 9:00am-12:30pm (Campers must not arrive prior to 8:45am.)

We will begin accepting registrations on Tuesday, April 4th. You may register either in person or online at Cumberland/North Yarmouth Community Recreation.

Day camp themes will concentrate on activities and socialization for youth grades 1-5. On “Home Days” (M, W, F) Structured activities will consist of arts & crafts, games, drama and sports. The afternoon schedule consists of swimming, games, special activities, and theme events.There will be one area beach trip & one field trip per week (Weather Permitting)Beach trips include: Pine Point, Ferry, Sebago Lake, Range Pond and Crescent.Campers are divided in to three groups, according to your child’s grade for the upcoming school year (Fall 2017).

Materials to bring to camp: Swim Suit, Bathing cap, Snacks, Towel, Lunch, and Liquids

Lunches: Each camper must bring a lunch marked with the campers name. no glass containers, please! A camp store will be opened for certain times of the day and they will have juice, water and other snacks for your campers to purchase.

Note: Please register either in person at the Recreation Office for day camp & extended hours or you may register online for this program. All fees must be paid in full at time of registration. A $25.00 per week /per camper fee will be charged if you should drop for any reason.No Phone Registration.

Registration Deadline: Each Wednesday prior to each session provided there is space. 


Middle School Summer Adventure Camp 2017
Participants Entering Grades 6th-8th (Fall 2017)

We will begin accepting registrations on Tuesday, April 4th. You may register either in person or online at Cumberland/North Yarmouth Community Recreation.

The Middle School Summer Adventure program is designed specifically for middle school youth. This program will take three field trips weekly (Mon, Wed, Fri) and be on-site (GHS) on Tuesdays & Thursdays. Field trips will range from hiking, rafting, kayaking to beach days. General hours for camp will be 9:00am – 4:00pm; some field trips will have extended hours. (i.e. bus leaving at 8:00am and returning at 4:30pm).
