2021 Spirit of America Award

Congratulations to Cumberland's Award Winning LCC

 

The Town of Cumberland's Lands & Conservation Commission has been selected as a 2021 winner of the Spirit of America Awards, for volunteerism in Cumberland. Since 1991, the Spirit of America Foundation has honored volunteers across Maine who have gone above and beyond in dedicating their time and resources toward bringing neighbors together and improving their communities. The LCC's work on conservation of water, land, forests, trails, and open space, as well as increasing public awareness of this important work, led Cumberland County officials to honor the LCC's "selfless and important efforts." Congratulations, and thank you!
