The duties will involve all aspects of grounds maintenance at municipal and recreational facilities as well as other labor tasks associated with the Parks and Public Services operations.
Knowledge of safety rules and practices for grounds maintenance operations are of most importance. Applicants may be required to perform laboring duties in adverse weather conditions and for extended hours.
This seasonal, 40-hour position will run from approximately May through October.
Candidates should have knowledge of methods, materials and equipment used in grounds maintenance, including knowledge in the operation of mowing equipment. Prior grounds maintenance experience is preferred, and a valid Class C license is required.
