Lecture Series: Carla Nixon

Where is Cumberland headed in 2018 and beyond? Cumberland Town Planner Carla Nixon will highlight some of the key developments in Cumberland's town plans, from allowing small cafes on Main Street to revitalizing the Route 100 and Route 1 corridors. Her talk, at Prince Memorial Library on Thursday, January 18 at 6:30 p.m., will provide opportunity for community members to have their questions answered.
 
Carla Nixon has been the town planner in Cumberland for more than 22 years. She has helped develop and implement two comprehensive plans and has worked with numerous volunteer committees and the Planning Board on both short- and long-range planning topics.
 
Her talk is part of the Prince Memorial Library Lecture Series, featuring local experts and speakers on a wide range of topics. Light refreshments will be served. Prince Memorial Library is located at 266 Main Street in Cumberland. For more information, contact the library at 829-2215.
