Assistant Clerks - Town Clerk's Department

We have a full-time and a part-time, hourly position within the Town Clerk's Department. Primary tasks will include processing motor vehicle registrations, issuance of various licenses and permits, and assistance with elections and voter registration. Requirements include excellent communication, organizational and customer service skills; experience working with the public; strong attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple priorities at a given time. Prior Municipal Clerk’s experience is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of computer applications (Microsoft Office) and good keyboard skills required. Experience with Munis and TRIO software desired but not required.

The Town of Cumberland offers a competitive salary, a generous benefits package and a 4-day work week (33 hours, Monday-Wednesday: 8am-5pm and Thursday: 8am-6pm).
