Tuttle Road

Work will begin this spring to upgrade two culvert crossings and raise approximately 800 feet of Tuttle Road east of the Maine Central Railroad crossing near Crossing Brook Road.  The road will be raised 3 to 4 feet and additional capacity will be added to two existing culvert crossings that have experienced frequent flooding during recent large rainfall events.  The project will include the extension of a sidewalk from Town Hall to the railroad right of way and then from the railroad right of way to the extents of the road reconstruction. Construction will occur in ½ mile increments so please be on the lookout for construction zones and traffic delays beginning in mid-April.
