CUMBERLAND TOWN COUNCIL SPECIAL MEETING

9:00 a.m. - CALL TO ORDER

 Present: Chairman Stiles, Councilors Turner, Damon, Porter, Moriarty, Storey, and Kuntz.

Chairman Stiles opened the meeting.  In attendance were Secession Petition representatives Mark Dyer, David Stevens, Jeff Putnam and Mabel Doughty. Town Manager William Shane, and Secession Advisors Herbert Maine and John Wilson were also in attendance.

V.                 NEW BUSINESS

VI.              EXECUTIVE SESSION - pursuant to 1 M.R.S.A., Section 405(6)(c) re: real estate disposition.

Motion made by Councilor Porter, seconded by Councilor Kuntz, to move to Executive Session pursuant to 1 MRSA, Section 405(6)(c) re: real estate disposition.

VOTE:                   UNANIMOUS PASSAGE 7-0

TIME:                    9:01 a.m.

Motion by Councilor Turner, seconded by Councilor Storey, to return from Executive Session.

VOTE:                   UNANIMOUS 7-0

TIME:                    5:12 p.m.

Motion by Councilor Porter, seconded by Councilor Damon, to accept the Tentative Agreement signed and dated January 7, 2006.

VOTE:                   UNANIMOUS PASSAGE 7-0

TIME:                    5:22 p.m.

VII.           ADJOURNMENT  

Motion by Councilor Moriarty, seconded by Councilor Kuntz, to adjourn.

VOTE:                   UNANIMOUS PASSAGE 7-0
