Take a trip to the very top of New England and learn what it's like to live and work in some of the world's worst weather. WMTW Meteorologist Sarah Long will share her experiences of "Life at the Top" as part of Prince Memorial Library's monthly lecture series, Thursday, April 20 at 6:30 p.m.

She will share what it’s like to live and work in the harsh conditions on Mt. Washington day in and day out; and tell us how that work is important to her forecasting now.

Long spent four years working and living at the Mount Washington Observatory summit station at the top of Mt. Washington in New Hampshire. She traded in the mountain-top living for forecasting closer to sea level. Long spent 10 years working at CBS in Portland and now works at WMTW for the past two years.
