                      CUMBERLAND TOWN COUNCIL
                                   SPECIAL MEETING
                              MONDAY, JUNE 6, 2005


7:00 pm - CALL TO ORDER

Attendance:  Chairman Stiles, Councilors Porter, Moriarty, Kuntz, Damon and Storey.
Excused:  Councilor Turner

WORKSHOP  with Val Halla Board of Trustees re: sale of malt beverages from mobile vendor cart pursuant to pending state legislation.  Trustees Frederick Bonville, Peter Reed, Brian Bickford, William Putnam, Chairman Rick Doane, and Business Manager, Ned Gribbins attended. At the conclusion of the workshop, it was determined to include an item on the next Town Council agenda to consider whether to make application for the new beverage cart license in order to sell malt beverages on the course.  

SPECIAL MEETING AGENDA -

II.     LEGISLATION AND POLICY:  None

III.    NEW BUSINESS:  None

IV.     EXECUTIVE SESSION:  Pursuant to Title 1, M.R.S.A., Section

Motion by Councilor Porter, seconded by Councilor Storey, to move into Executive Session pursuant to Title 1, MRSA, Section 405 (6) (c) re: disposition of real estate.
VOTE:          UNANIMOUS 6-0
TIME:          8:47 p.m.

Motion by Councilor Moriarty, seconded by Councilor Kuntz, to return from Executive Session.
VOTE:          UNANIMOUS 7-0 (Councilor Turner arrived at 8:54 p.m.)

V.      ADJOURN:

Motion by Councilor Storey, seconded by  Councilor Kuntz to adjourn
VOTE:          UNANIMOUS 7-0
