Also, congratulations to Tony Polito, the 2007 Scholarship Shootout Champion. 

As always, we also wish to thank Val Halla and the Membership for their support of the Scholarship Fund.  Through this generosity we have been able to award over 100 scholarships totaling over $35,000 over the last 10 years alone.  These scholarships are given to annually Val Halla Golf Association members, their children, and Val Halla employees seeking a post secondary education in an approved program. 

The committee looks to 2008 to continue to build upon this tradition.  If you know of an applicant who may qualify, please be sure to pick up an application.  Application Forms are posted on the Scholarship Bulletin Board in early September and must be submitted by the end of October.
