Employment Opportunities

Have you ever saved a life?

Have you ever thought, "What would it feel like to help save someone's life?".

The Town of Cumberland is looking for committed people who are willing to serve their community as members of the Rescue Department.  The Department is made up of well trained Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) who are paid a per-call hourly rate to respond to emergency calls as well as when working special details and events.

Applicants must be at least 20 years old, have a current driver's license and are either currently licensed by Maine EMS or eligible to take a training course (see training section of the Rescue Department's website for details).

Applications can be picked up at the Public Safety Administrative Office at 290 Tuttle Road during regular business hours or you may email your interest to Chief Christopher Bolduc at cbolduc@cumberlandmaine.com
