Instructional Clinics
Description: Instructional Clinics are intended to introduce new golfers to the game of golf. The emphasis is on becoming comfortable around the game while working on short swings (putting and chipping); full-swings (woods and irons); and etiquette/basic rules. This program closely mirrors the successful U.S. Kids Green, Yellow & Red Tee Program.
Who: Ages Approximately 7 to 11
When: Thursday's beginning June 26th through July 31st from 9am to 11am (No class on July 3rd; Rain Date Class on August 7th)
Where: Meet on the putting green
Clinic Size: No limit; we will adjust the number of instructors for ratios of approximately 6:1
Equipment Requirement: Pro Shop can supply; please indicate on registration form
Instructor(s): Brian Bickford, Head Golf Professional and Golf Mentors from our Junior Golf Mentor Program (new for 2008)
Fee: $50/series for Val Halla Junior Members; $60/series for non-Members
