Watch out for the
Bikers!
A Bicycle Time Trial will be held
on Sunday, September 12th, 2010. The first rider will be on the
course (Main St., Greely Rd., Middle Rd., Tuttle
Rd.) at 8:00 a.m. starting at MIW. Approximately 70-80 cyclists
will be riding. They will be leaving MIW in 30 second
increments. All cyclists are expected to be off course by 10:30
a.m.

TRAFFIC UPDATE ROUTE 115 CLOSURE
NEAR PEA LANE TO YARMOUTH TOWN LINE
MDOT has reported that RT 115 will be
closed between Pea Lane and the Yarmouth Town Line during
business hours the following days & times:
Tues., Sept. 7,2010 to Friday, Sept.10th 7:30 AM
to 4PM

· The Fall
Brochure of Program Offerings is now available both through
the mail and on line at the Town of Cumberland website. We
are currently accepting registrations for ALL fall programs.

The Greely Pool is scheduled to re-open starting Tuesday, September 7th.
Lap/open swim, water fitness, and lesson information is available in
the fall brochure

Fall soccer programs are scheduled to begin at the Twin Brook
Recreation Area on Saturday, September 11th.
Fall registration has
begun for Community Education and Recreation programs! The
brochure is available online at www.cumberlandmaine.com
and has been mailed to residents of Cumberland and North Yarmouth.

Upcoming Major
Traffic Event- Marathon October 3rd
The upcoming Casco Bay Marathon
from Portland to Yarmouth along Foreside Road on Sunday October
3rd will cause major delays in traffic. Please
expect significant delays beginning around 7:30 AM and ending
around noon. No baby strollers, dogs or unauthorized bicycles will
be allowed on the course.
